Taking a big release to the next level.
Four weeks before launching a big new release with 7 new virtual rides, I just couldn't hold my tongue any longer. The ride menu wasn't going to do any of it justice. I spent one evening redesigning it and walked into the lead engineer's office the next morning. He loved it, but said we didn't have time. I told him I could still hit the deadline. He took it to the owner, they took a chance on me, and we shipped on time to rave reviews.
